2023 – Opening of the Wörnitz site in planning
2023 – Opening of the Ansbach site
In a logistics region with high demand and limited space, this ultra-modern new location with 30,000 m² of warehouse space was built, which is particularly attractive due to its direct connection to the highway. The site is in a prime location, just 40 kilometers from Nuremberg and right next to freeway junction 52, which takes less than two minutes to reach the A6 and the Feuchtwangen/Crailsheim junction is also just a few kilometers away.
2022 – Expansion of the Roßtal/Buchschwabach site
The new location with 30,000 m² of warehouse space is characterized not only by its connection to the A6 motorway, but also by its prime location in the immediate vicinity of the Nuremberg metropolis.
With 24/7 operations, the newly built site ensures smooth workflows and efficient processes to meet current and future logistics challenges.
2020 – Expansion of individual areas of the company
Expansion of internal IT and introduction of state-of-the-art systems.
Expansion of the e-commerce and fulfillment division and acquisition of innovative customers in the e-commerce sector.
2019 – Wittekindstraße rail siding
The external warehouse in Nuremberg’s Wittekindstraße now has its own rail siding, which is connected to the regional rail network. This enables gbl – global brands logistics to provide an efficient, sustainable and environmentally friendly form of logistics.
2014-2019 – Further expansion and focus
Over the next few years, the space will be continuously expanded to up to 60,000 m², 18,000 m² of which will be used solely for white goods logistics. The company focuses increasingly on contract logistics and fulfillment.
2012/2013 – Expansion of fulfillment services
With the move to the (then) headquarters in Kirchhoffstraße, Nuremberg, gbl – global brands logistics has an area of 30,000 m², which will be expanded again to 40,000 m² by the end of 2013. Modern logistics IT and spare parts logistics are introduced.
2010/2011 – Establishment and expansion of warehouse logistics
This is followed by a steady expansion of the logistics space to a total of 20,000 m² in 2011. gbl – global brands logistics expands its portfolio with a fulfillment service for online stores.
2009 – Company foundation
The contract and distribution logistics for “white goods” can already be expanded to 8,500 m² in the founding year. With 30 of its own vehicles, gbl – global brands logistics becomes a member of the nationwide TL/KL “white goods” transport logistics network.
